SED
Background
SED is a mobile app designed to help teachers understand the emotions of their students during class. It uses artificial intelligence and machine learning tools such as Google Colab, CNN, OpenCV, and Keras to save and exchange studies, classify students' faces, detect and process faces, and train the software to be more accurate in identifying faces. AI can discern emotions that teachers cannot, making it easier to create a more effective learning environment. This project provides educational advantages such as faster emotion recognition, easier tracking of learning progress, and a user-friendly environment. In Malaysia, AI has the potential to improve education quality and commercialise it.

SED represents an advancement in technology specifically in the AI industry. With its game-changing contribution to the education field, SED doesn't stop there.
SED manages to display the emotion right afer the scanning. With this speed, SED is able to give the results and save a lot of time.
In everys single test we made, we asked the test subject whether the emotions are right or not. Suprisingly, over 1000 participants, only 5-10 of them said the result did not match their current emotions on that time.
Surveys are now can be done digitally. Without using any papers,this will automatically saves the environment simultaneously.

IN iCE-CInno 2022
During the International Competition and Exhibition On Computing Innovation 2022,(iCE-CInno). Student Emotions Detector (SED) was awarded a silver medal and was crowned as the Best Secondary School Innovation.
The camera captures the face of the pupils.
The systems integrate React Native and FaceAPI.js using a JavaScript module bundler to simplify the process of capturing images and video.
The displays shows the result including gender and the percentage of an emotion
The test subject give feedback whether the results are correct or not.
